Each of these images were captured in Alaska during a 2010 cruise. Two birds were seen in the wild and the other was residing in a raptor rehabilitation center. I got the best shots of the captive bird because it was tethered to a tree.

While participating as a vendor at the Creston Church’s Spring Bazaar, I ran a slide show of an assortment of my images and a few raptors were included. One of the women at the baked goods table commented about them and I offered to create a special gallery for her online. Of course, now it’s open to everyone but she still gets bragging rights.

When you click on an individual image and don’t see a title, it means I’m on the lookout for just the right name and always glad to hear suggestions from visitors. To get an idea of what type of title might float my boat, check out this gallery. If you’re title is selected, and you agree, I’ll give you credit for the name.
